Introducing our newest VDSS approved training: Pre-Medication Administrative Training (PMAT)
This abbreviated medication administration training is intended for providers in child day programs who do not routinely administer medications to children, but who supervise children who may need an EpiPen and/or who may need to apply prescription topical creams and ointment, e.g., prescription diaper ointment, etc.
All providers who attend a PMAT course must be current in CPR and First Aid.
This course is approximately 2 hours in length and does NOT have a graded skills demonstration or a written test
Daily Health Observation Training
We will continue to bring this 2–3 hour state-mandated training to your center as well as offer monthly trainings at convenient Northern Virginia locations. These community trainings are sure to fill up fast!
2007 Medication Administration Training (MAT)
We have conducted several Medication Administration Trainings and have learned a great deal in the process. Our class time is averaging 8.5 hours and has an excellent pass rate. Much of this success is attributed to the participants being prepared and eager to learn. Thank you all for such enthusiasm! All providers who attend a MAT course must be current in CPR and First Aid. Please consider taking an Inova HealthSource CPR/First Aid course.
