Ready to kick the nicotine habit and get a breath of fresh air? Inova’s TobaccoNET program will connect you with a Personal Quit Coach upon enrollment. You and your Coach will work together to create a personalized plan to help you be successful in your quit attempt. This 12-session internet- only program provides you with access to a private member website for classes and weekly email communication with your Quit Coach.
Inova TobaccoNET is about taking action to free you from nicotine. It is a comprehensive program that incorporates lifestyle and behavior changes and is tailored to meet individual needs.
Changing a behavior is hard work and that’s why Inova TobaccoNET is built around personal coaching. Our Coaches are health professionals who work for you – encouraging, supporting, educating and yes, pushing you to help you reach your goal. You work with the same Coach throughout the program.
You receive sound health information from qualified, experienced health professionals when and where it’s convenient for you. Inova TobaccoNET can fit into your schedule and busy lifestyle.
How does TobaccoNET work?
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the program.
The website indicates the start date for Inova TobaccoNET to be the end of each month ~ that is INCORRECT and is a limitation of the website. You can register and start Inova TobaccoNET at any time.
Once registered, you’ll have the support of a personal Quit Coach. Your Coach works with you from the first week of the program to determine your goals and supports you as you make healthy lifestyle changes over the next 12 sessions.
Online tools and your Coach help you create a quit plan. All of the program materials are on a members-only website so they are available when it’s convenient for you.
Communicate weekly with your Coach on your progress and ask questions as often as you like. Email makes it easy to keep in touch with your Coach.

What will I be doing over the 12 sessions?
Reading online materials that focus on tobacco cessation, stress management and relapse prevention. Review the program syllabus
Completing a few 'homework' assignments including a tobacco journal and recovery plan worksheet.
Emailing and/or talking with your Coach.
What is the cost of TobaccoNET?
This twelve session program is $200.00.
That breaks down to a weekly cost $16.66 for a personalized quit plan and support from a specially trained health professional.
You can pay by credit card through Inova Teleservices, which is the registration department for all of the Inova HealthSource classes.
What is the Refund Policy?
You must contact Inova TobaccoNET at 703.698.2419 within 7 business days of registering.
You will be refunded the cost of the program minus a $25 processing fee.
